Ai-Live™ Beta was released on the 23
of April at the National Deafness Sector Summit. It is a world’s first
education innovation for Deaf and hearing impaired students.
This year in Australia almost 10,000 students will have difficulty hearing in class. 85% of these students are in mainstream schools with limited support. Deaf students are 2.4 times less likely to complete high school than non-hearing impaired students in the same classes. Ai-Live™ Beta provides access to classroom discussions and lessons, thereby offering kids with deafness or hearing impairments inclusion.
In tandem with the launch Ai-Live™, Ai-Media announced their new training and accreditation program, Ai-Skills™. This will allow people with the appropriate aptitude to train and become a Respeaking Captioner - a critical component of this innovative solution.
