Ai-Media's New Recruits

Ai-Media's New Recruits

Meet the newest team members at Ai-Media

Thomas Stiller, 23, is a recent graduate from the University of Wollongong; majoring in Literature and History. Throughout his uni days, Thomas worked in promotions and customer service. He has joined the Ai-Media team as a Captioner and enjoys working at Ai-Media where he can utilise his literacy skills whilst fulfilling a desire to make a difference in people's lives.

Bettina Girdler, 33, has many years of experience working within the Deaf community. She has worked for the Deaf Society of NSW and also as a PA to a deaf professional in the telecommunications industry. She likes being able to use her language and Auslan skills on a daily basis to provide effective communication services for people who would otherwise be marginalised by mainstream society.

Prior to joining Ai-Media, Paul Leary, 26, worked in sales, marketing and public relations. At Ai-Media, Paul is able to put his expertise and knowledge to good use, helping to bring an awareness of the issues D&HI people face, as well as developing the Ai-Media brand. Paul's role of Marketing and Communications Assistant compliments a dynamic team of creative minds.

Karthik Sivasankaran, 24, moved to Sydney after completing his studies at Swinburne University in Melbourne.  As IT Support Officer, Karthik finds it rewarding to be working with a company that provides innovative solutions, enabling accessibility and inclusion, and has a long term view to continually develop and enhanced services.
