PCDE Morning Tea

PCDE Morning Tea

On the 7th July 2010, Ai-Media and members from Parent Council for Deaf Education and some of their children gathered at Ai-Media Headquarters for a live demonstration and a showcase of the Ai-Live™ - captioning solution.

About 50 parents and children from the Deaf community arrived for the event, all eager to see this new invention and the changes it can bring to their lives.

Kicking off at 10:30 am, Alex Jones (Co-Founder/Director) and Leonie Jackson (Head of Education Access) gave a presentation including a brief synopsis of Ai-Media’s history, how Ai-Live™ went from being a dream to becoming a reality, the development process, and the road blocks that were overcome along the way. The parents and children were transported back into the classroom for a ‘Geography Lesson’, demonstrating what it is like to have Ai-Live™ in a real classroom. Followed by a round of questions from the parents, the Ai-Media team, parents and children mingled over a hot cuppa.
