The NDS Employment Forum will be held on 5-6 September 2011 at the Hilton, Sydney.
National Disability Services (NDS) is hosting a two-day conference to help equip providers of disability employment services - open and supported - with knowledge and strategies to assist them to succeed in this demanding environment.
This is a demanding time for providers of employment services to people with disability.
Disability Employment Services (DES) are coming to terms with a new service model which places an increased emphasis on employment outcomes. They face the continuing challenge of implementing the new contract with the Commonwealth Government and meeting performance benchmarks. They are required to respond to consumer demand while adjusting to new funding tools, a revised performance framework and complex rules. DES providers strive to provide high-quality outcomes for people with disability while maintaining a sustainable organisation.
