What are Captions?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Captions are the text representation of the spoken words and sounds in video content, with additional timing information that allows them to appear on screen in time with the video. Captions can be displayed on television, online, on mobile devices, and within education settings.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1559715970397{padding-bottom: 40px !important;}”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1558409025663{padding-top: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]

Why Captions Matter?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

We want to create a more open and accessible world

Deaf and hard-of-hearing

Worldwide, there are nearly 400 million people with hearing loss, over 5% of the world’s population. Captions provide access to audio and video content that was previously inaccessible.

Literacy

Captions are also used by people who are learning to read, or learning a second language. By providing access to both the audio and written versions of dialogue, captions improve literacy.

Our mission

At Ai-Media, our mission is to make a global impact, one word at a time. Whether hearing or Deaf, many people rely on captions for access to content, allowing them to participate fully and transforming the experience of life for themselves and their families.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=”image” parallax_style=”vcpb-vz-jquery” bg_image_new=”id^2586|url^https://ai-media.tv/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/bg-grey-tesselation-bl.jpg|caption^null|alt^null|title^bg-grey-tesselation-bl|description^null” bg_override=”ex-full” css=”.vc_custom_1557897513756{padding-top: 80px !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;}”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1558073909346{padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column_text]
